Interior refurbishment project, with no intervention on structure or facade windows.
The objective was to create a small clinic with:
> Entrance hall with reception desk;
> waiting room and WC for clients;
> two doctor's offices;
> two Endermology Treatment rooms;
> one internal room and WC for personnel use only.
The base idea was to create a interior volume - to accommodate services, doctor’s offices, treatment rooms, WC’s and internal room – contained by one circulation space for reception and waiting room.
The major constrains for the development of the project were:
> existing structure spread all over the valuable space;
> inverted beam, with 35cm over the floor level, compromising the possibility of accessibility for wheelchairs in all compartments;
> the will to keep the energy consumption levels as low as possible, through the extension of natural light to the inner spaces and sharing the ambience light of inner volume and container space;
> the use of material compatible with high standards of hygiene and low maintenance needs.
